In 1999, Emily Damerow graduated Summa Cum Laude from Geneva College with a B. A. in Music. She has had Suzuki teacher training and continues to study violin under Larrie Howard, a retiree from the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra. Emily has also studied cello under Yali Sun. Since graduating from college, Emily has been teaching privately in the Cincinnati area. She has been successful in teaching students of varied ages, with diverse musical interests. Her ability to teach everything from classical to fiddling repertoire, conduct recitals and prepare students for competitions and orchestra tryouts has made her a popular teacher.
